Flamenco
Under the name of Maria Rocca, I became known as a Flamenco guitarist, accompanying the best Flamenco dancers to visit London (Jose Garcia, Maribel Lillo, Rocio Morena, Maria Rosa, Teresa Moreno and Margarita La China), working with singer Valeriano Rocca (my partner at that time). We toured the UK extensively, appearing on television, in concerts and theatres, as well as doing cabaret for London's night life. The peak was perhaps reached when I organized a show at the Roundhouse with a company of 25 dancers, singers and guitarists. It was sold out.
