The early years were spent in a flurry of interviewing, song-writing, festivals and concerts both here and abroad, culminating in the production of 3 albums of songs, and the writng of many others which were not recorded.
Memories ('87)
I was asked to write a song about the situation in Cyprus, divided by the Green Line, and its effects on the people. I travelled there to experience the Green Line, and to listen to what the people had to say. On my return, I interviewed some of the Cypriot women who had been forced by events to emmigrate to the UK, and the lyrics came from these interviews.
